Today we went to Santa Cruz. This is a village not too far from where we are staying and a very poor area. From the folks we saw, they did not seem to be as “sick” as those yesterday, but I’m not sure, but I think we saw every child in Belize!! If we continue at the pace we are going, we will treat and see nealy a thousand patients this week. I am very impressed at the commitment of these students and the positive interection they are having among themselves and their patients. And the did this on a day without air conditioning with a “feels like” temperature of 111 degrees!! Below are a sampling of the pictures of the day.
